Amber and I had a terrible fight. I left Amber naked in that glen. I begged her to come home and find a new landscape to paint. She didn't want to hear it. My angry words did not deter Amber from continuing to visit that glen each day. I hope she completes her painting soon. The way the scene shifts and sways, I worry she may never finish. I don't know what is going on with her. I can't believe she doesn't see the warped landscape taking on menacing forms. Are we even seeing the same things? She insists I just need to see 'it,' but all I see is trees and foliage flowing together to take the form of some monstrous beast. I saw it there, briefly, just before I had left Amber.

What was I to do? I do not believe in spooks, I won't. Thus, I decided to ignore it. Amber would finish her painting soon enough and we could move on against this absurdity.

Amber came home later and later in the evening and was no longer hounding me for sex. It was to be expected after our disagreement. I only wished she would come home at a decent hour, I don't know how she was painting without any light, but I suspected she was doing other things in town before coming home. She was also leaving early in the morning. Not giving me much time to see her at any time of the day. I wondered how she was functioning with so little sleep.

To tell you the truth I miss her and I was hoping to make up with her soon. She was almost done with her work on painting that awful place; she had to be. I would not go there again.

Nevertheless, over a week had gone by since I felt her touch and I longed for it. Maybe it was just self-pity and regret for letting myself get upset over her chosen location. It was just a place. I don't know what I thought I saw, but it couldn't have been anything but a trick of the mind. I am upset over nothing.

If only Amber was home long enough for me to express my regret. I would love for her to surprise me again. I've taken long showers with lights turned down low and sweet music playing to muffle any sound she would make. I hoped that like some sort of burglar she would sneak in and take me from behind. She would rip me from my shower and onto our bed.

If that is what it would take to apologize then I would be her willing victim. I would let her do anything she wanted to me. Should could tie me up and make me beg. She could do anything but leave me here waiting alone for her. I yearn for her to lick the wet droplets off from my skin. I want to feel her fingers slide across my clitoris and her tongue run across my breasts.
